After the pandemic hit, the client rapidly acquired customers which lead to a massive spike in data collection to fuel their AI. They were in the middle of raising a Series B when they asked us to double their AI team ASAP. We were tasked on hiring niche AI talent during the pandemic -- a difficult time for growing an AI team.

Founded in 2018
$7M Series A in 2019, $12M Series B in 2021
Current AI Team: 3 AI Engineers ranging from Mid-Level to Director Level.
Objective: Hire Senior ML Engineer and Senior Data Scientist.

Day 0 - Initial Onboarding Call
We discussed AI roles, status of recruiting ops, recommended profiles on who they need for their AI team. We kicked-off outreach to our AI candidate network within 24 hours.
Day 7 - Hiring pipeline grew from 0 to 11 and set up recruiting ops
After 1 week, we set up recruiting operations for screening criteria, interview stages, and candidate experience. We grew their pipeline with 11 senior level candidates.
Day 30 - Hiring Pipeline grew to 25 Candidates and 13 Booked Technical Interviews
By the 30th day, 13 Technical interviews were booked and we added 14 more exceptional candidates. We received 103 people who were interested and we submitted the top 25 candidates.
Day 60 - Company re-calibrates on the role, pipeline grows to 50
After interviewing 27 candidates the company re-calibrates the role and focuses on specific niche AI talent. We submitted 50 candidates at this point.
